Interested in becoming more involved in IAMB? Consider volunteering for
one of our committees. This is an excellent way to get involved and learn
IAMB “from the ground up.”
Below is the list of our committees, along with the committee chairs, and
some of their goals for this year.

Education |
The Education Committee has the primary
responsibility to set up training opportunities for IAMB members.
Training is planned quarterly and may offer continuing education
credits to benefit the members. |

Finance |
The Finance Committee is responsible for reviewing
the monthly and annual financial position of IAMB and reporting back
to the full board. This committee also proposes the annual budget,
to include anticipated expenditures and revenues. |

Technology |
The Technology Committee’s primary responsibility
is to develop and monitor the website for all necessary updates and
provide oversight to the webmaster. This committee also makes
recommendations on technology advances and opportunities that could
help IAMB better serve its members. |

Newsletter |
The Newsletter Committee develops a bi-monthly
newsletter for membership education and information. This includes
advising staff on articles, content, and sponsorships. |
|
Bylaws |
The Bylaws Committee is responsible for the timely
review and monitoring of the bylaws and recommending bylaws changes
to the board and the membership. |
|
Membership |
The Membership Committee is responsible for the
development and implementation of membership recruitment strategies.
In addition, this committee monitors communications between IAMB and
the members and makes recommendations on how to improve that
communication. |

Government Affairs |
Department of Finance, Federal and State
legislation, Develop a Legislative Day, NAMB Legislative Conference. |

Activities |
The Activities Committee is responsible for the
planning and implementation of social events, fundraisers and other
such activities for the benefit of IAMB members. |
|
DECA |
This committee monitors and works with the NAMB
DECA scholarship and education program and works to introduce Idaho
high school students to the mortgage industry. |

Chapters
(interim committee) |
This interim committee is responsible for studying
the possibilities of regional IAMB chapters in Idaho and making a
recommendation to the board. |

Affiliates |
This committee, representing our affiliate members,
is responsible for recruiting IAMB ambassadors and determining their
responsibilities and roles in promoting IAMB. This committee shall
make recommendations to the board on issues involving or affecting
affiliate members. |
